Call of Duty: Take the Shot-gun Challenge

Featuring Sam, Ben, Matt and Alex!

Our third Call of Duty: Modern Warfare challenge took us back to one of our favourite objective-based game-modes: Search and Destroy. But this isn’t S&D as you know it, this is S&D with a Casual Heroes Gaming twist. This is ‘Take the Shot-gun’.

You guessed it, this is Search and Destroy with Shotguns! No other primary weapons allowed.

The rules: Each player must use a Shotgun as their primary weapon – they can choose whichever they like and have whatever combination of attachments they want, so long as it’s a shotgun. Each player also has to run a knife as their secondary weapon, a molotov cocktail as their lethal and a smoke grenade as their tactical. Perks can be whatever.

The scoring: The primary objective: Kills. At the end of each game, the player with the most kills gets 10 points, 2nd gets 5 points, 3rd and 4th = zero points.

BONUS POINTS: Having the most kills isn’t the only way to get points! Bonus points are rewarded for every molotov cocktail kill (2 points, 4 points if it’s featured in an end-of-round kill cam) and every assassination/finishing moves kill (10 points per assassination, 20 if it’s featured in end of round kill cam).

1st: Matt with 42 points
2nd: Ben with 36 points
3rd: Sam with 32 points
4th: Alex with 15 points

Matt wins again! Since joining in, Matt has now won both challenges he’s been involved with, dominating convincingly both times. Who know’s what will happen in the 4th challenge? Rocket launchers? Maybe. C4? Could be an option. Chaos and explosions? Sounds probable…

Challenge Achievements:

MVP: Matt
Most Sneaky: Ben (2 assassinations)
Most Useless: Alex
Most Rage: Sam
